What is a migraine?

A migraine is the effect of a change in brain chemistry. Although not life threatening some of the symptoms can be debilitating. Severe pain, loss of use of body parts, over sensitivity to light, sound and smell. Some people have the same symptoms as a stroke or seizure. Everyone has different symptoms and symptoms can change from 1 migraine to another. A migraine can last anywhere between 4 and 72 hours and generally the person knows they are going to get one before the pain comes. Over the counter pain killers do not normally help.

"We once saw a documentary on migraines. One of the men interviewed used to fall on his knees and bang his head against the floor, over and over during attacks. This diverted the pain from deep inside his brain, where he couldn't reach it, to a pain outside that he had control over." - Jay Asher, 13 Reasons Why

As you read this I would like you to imagine what it would be like if your pain could be reduced by even 10%. Now what about if it could be reduced even more, or even switched off for periods of time. could that be a useful skill to you? Although no one can guarantee to give you relief from migraine, I have had excellent results in the reduction of occurrence and symptoms of migraines. I know people who have just stopped having migraines after they have learned that you can get rid of them. I have several clients who had regular migraines every week or two reporting they have been migraine free for months and years. Please see testimonials for some of my clients' feedback. Most of my clients report almost immediate effect within a week or two.

"A migraine is like having a hangover even before the party starts." - Brenda Priddy

Migraine Treatment

How do I treat migraines? I teach you specific stress management techniques that you can use anytime you want. Most people will agree that the reduction of stress aids and sometimes prevents migraine occurring. I also give you a specific technique to do. This technique takes less than 5 minutes a day to complete. Once you are sure that the migraines have stopped occurring you can stop using the migraine technique. Some of my clients have reported that when they feel the migraine is about to occur they use the technique which takes about 1 min to complete. Other clients have reported that they get the warning signals of the migraine but no migraine occurs even though they have not used the technique. Although I use hypnosis in the stress management part of migraine treatment there is no need to be hypnotised. I can give you other stress management techniques but this will take up more of your time. The stress management portion is not critical to the eradication of migraines although I cannot stress the importance of stress management in life in general. So you not only get the migraine removal technique you get stress management that can reduce symptoms of many issues like IBS, tension headaches. Also stress can lead to or aggravate severe conditions such as fibromyalgia and heart disease etc.
